"This day, August 19th, was quite the tumultuous day in the Potterverse in 1992. On this day, Harry uses Floo Powder for the first time, but ends up in Borgin and Burkes by mistake, where he first sees the Vanishing Cabinet, Hand of Glory, and the Cursed Necklace. He also sees Lucius and Draco. He then sees Hagrid, Hermione, and the rest of the Weasleys, and meets Gilderoy Lockhart for the first time at Flourish and Blotts. He also meets Lucius Malfoy for the first time. Lucius slips the diary into Ginny’s cauldron, and Arthur and Lucius have a fight that Hagrid has to break up. All in all, a day full of significant events both for Chamber of Secrets and all the future books."
